Hello – when I started work at Plessey, Christchurch, in 1989 I was assigned to the team working on the Skynet 4 ground segment diversification project. The Plessey team was big, as was the customer team that included RSRE personnel from Defford. I’m admittedly reminiscing and for the life of me cannot recall the name of one particular gentleman from Defford. He was universally liked, probably wore tweed, had a grey beard and I recall that an accident left him with some mobility issues. The name that comes to mind is ?Sibley?.
